Winter Nights Nozawa Onsen
Nozawa Onsen is a dream spot for skiers and snowboarders, with over 50 km of marked trails and 36 runs. The resort has a great mix of terrain for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders. Beginners can enjoy wide, gentle slopes that are perfect for building confidence. Intermediate riders will love long, flowing runs like Paradise and Forest Trail. These scenic trails wind through beautiful, snow-covered forests. Advanced riders can hit steep terrain and deep, ungroomed powder off Yamabiko.

There are also tree runs and backcountry zones when conditions allow. The resort has a solid terrain park with jumps and features for freestyle riders.
Nozawa gets amazing powder, especially from January to February. In 2025, it stayed open until May 6 thanks to great snowfall. The village sits right at the base of the mountain for easy access which means after a day on the slopes, walk straight into a steaming onsen to unwind.
