Nozawa Holidays Travel Agent
Nozawa Holidays Travel Agent A cool change is in the Air in Nozawa Yesterday was a warm day in town and lots of wind as the Typhoon off the coast dragged some hot air up from Okinawa. Today is a lot cooler with low cloud cover hovering over the village and some light rain. Current temp in town is 22 degrees and about 16 up top at Yamabiko. In just 3 months we could be well under a blanket of white snow like the first photo of the village taken in December last year. The second shot is from Spring as the snow receded. Slide to see the change. Nozawa Holidays Travel Agent Have heard forecasts of another big La […]
Four Seasons Nozawa Onsen
Four Seasons Nozawa Onsen Four Seasons of Nozawa at Taki No Yu Onsen Which is your favourite Onsen in Nozawa? It is a hard question with 13 free Onsens to choose from and a host of others in hotels and around the village. Some are bigger than others, some have hotter water, some have greener water, some are quiet, and some bustling. Lots of variables that will suit different folks. My personal favourite is Taki No Yu Onsen nestled up in a beautiful peaceful corner of the village. It is a good walk from the centre of town so often empty and also very cosy. These shots show the Onsen over 4 different times of the year. Some people think […]

Cool places visit Japan
Cool places visit Japan Kamikochi you got me Have run photos of this amazing location before but this is one I took myself in May this year when I visited Kamikochi for some hiking. The water really is as crystal clear as it looks. I even took a swim in it to make sure and in May with the winter snow melt it certainly was refreshing. Kamikochi is just over 2 Hours drive from Nozawa Onsen. Like some mountain areas in Switzerland, which it reminded me of you are not able to drive all the way. You need to take a dedicated bus into the National Park for the final leg which is a good thing. This photo is just […]
