❄️Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort Opens November 29!

Confirmed Opening Day from the resort just in hot off the Press 

We’re excited to announce that the 2025–26 season will officially kick off this  Saturday, November 29th! The Nagasaka Gondola will roar into life early this weekend. 

Lifts open in Nozawa

• Nagasaka Gondola
• Yamabiko 4 both lifts all the way to the top
• Nozawa Central Rentals will open for all your rental needs
• Nozawa Holidays Ski School will be open for lessons

The Runs that will open;
• Yamabiko D Course – ready to ride! 👍The groomers have been busy getting things sorted up top and looking good. 

More Terrain should also open this Saturday 

With a bit more snowfall, they plan to open:

• Yamabiko A, B, C & E Courses

• Uenotaira Slope

The forecast is calling for about 8 cm of fresh snow on Friday night, so fingers crossed it’s enough to open more runs — including Uenotaira — so beginners can enjoy their first slide of the season.
(Additional openings may be announced right before the day depending on conditions.)
